Born in Piedmont and proud of her origin. She is passionate about too many things and often spends her days daydreaming. She loves impossible adventures, traveling, reading, animals and all things crafty. She writes, sews, embroiders, paints, decorates, takes pictures... There is no diy activity she has never tried out once. If she could, she'd love to change life and job everyday. Not for dissatisfaction, just for curiosity. Arrived in Sicily because of love but mostly because of her curiosity, she lives the life of a third millenium farmer: give her a hoe but don't deprive her of an internet connection, she could get depressed. In the farm she deals with communication, corporate image and customer care. So, if you were rudely addressed or if you don't like the labels, that's all her fault! But that's really uncommon, she is a perfectionist completely in love with her customers. Good manners and kindness, for her, are a form of philosophy. Sometimes she looses her temper... When it's due, she arms herself with a hoe and gives vent to her energy in the vegetable garden. She is an active part of the group that harvest carobs, almonds and olives. She is still inexperienced but she learns fast. She believes in ecology, sustainability, biodiversity and whatever can make the Earth better. She left the lights of a sparkling fashion world and she is really happy with that. She'd rather watch the sunset over the stones of Noto, sitted on her home stairs with her dog sleeping on her feet. If you speak Italian you can read her blog, IlRuggitodegliIblei, the half-serious diary of a Piedmont girl living in Sicily. |
